W-4 and I-9 on their phone
New hires get a private link to fill in their information, sign the W-4, and sign I-9 Section 1 before their first day. The office completes Section 2 with the 3-day deadline tracked.
Social Security numbers locked down
Encrypted, hidden from the office, visible only to owners, and every view is logged.
Drug tests scheduled
Pick the clinic and time, text the hire the address and instructions, and record the result. A negative DOT test updates the driver's qualification file.
Training booked on day one
Hiring someone into a work area signs them up for every training it requires: the online course when you have one, or a seat in the next class.
Common questions
Is a phone I-9 legal?
Employers can complete Form I-9 electronically when the system captures signatures and keeps an audit trail. The original documents still have to be examined in person within 3 business days of the first day. Review your process with your employment attorney.
Does it replace our payroll company?
No. Stratorra collects and signs the W-4. Your payroll company or QuickBooks Payroll runs the paychecks. Owners can print or view the W-4 to set them up.
Can applicants apply in Spanish?
Yes. The apply page and the new-hire forms switch between English and Spanish.
Who sees the applications?
Owners and the office. Field hands don't see hiring.
